services
All of our sessions are taylored to your unique needs and personal goals, nothing is TMI. All virtual clients are sent a HIPAA compliant video link through Google Meet. With both in-person and virtual visits, we began your plan of care with an in-depth conversation, followed by a thorough, full body exam, observing your range of motion and functional movement patterns, like squatting and lunging. For in-person visits, an internal vaginal exam is only performed upon condition being treated and with the patient's written and verbal consent. The focus for each session is to provide hands-on work, along with exercise progressions/modifications, and homework to work on between visits. Your children are always welcome to attend visits with you.

My symptoms improved the DAY of my appointment (no exaggeration). It’s not everyday you come by a practitioner who is as professional & knowledgeable as she is welcoming & kind. My only regret is not visiting Dr. Tee sooner! -K.V

No, Virginia is a direct access state, so a doctor’s referral is not needed to begin your plan of care. This means that you could come directly to our office without scheduling an appointment with your primary care physician first. How cool is that?!

Taylored 4 You Health and Wellness is a fee-for-service physical therapy company, with all services being covered by out-of-network insurance. After each session, we provide a superbill for self- submission for reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service using HSA (health savings account), FSA (flexible spending account), or debit/credit cards. Superbills may not be available for virtual appointments depending upon the circumstance.

We love to get to know you first, so we offer phone or video consultations prior to scheduling an initial appointment. This gives us the opportunity to chat with you and gather some background information in regards to your concerns. After the consultation, we schedule your in-person or virtual appointment to begin your plan of care.

Your initial evaluation takes place in a private, safe space within our clinic. We will discuss your concerns and ask any judgment-free questions about your health history and current symptoms. After our in-depth conversation, we focus on assessing your full body range of motion and movement patterns. If granted verbal and written consent for a pelvic floor examination, we use manual touch to assess both your external genitalia and internal vaginal muscles. We do not use any gynecological tools (speculums) during our examinations. Your pelvic floor strength, endurance, and any other pain points are thoroughly assessed. If you are not comfortable with an internal pelvic examination during your first visit, that is okay.

Every individual has unique needs, so how often a patient is seen is dependent upon consistency of weekly visits, dedication to your home exercise program, and your overall commitment toward improvement. Many factors, including your health history, current symptoms, and lifestyle, are taken into consideration with your treatment plan. After your initial evaluation, we are able to discuss your expected treatment plan and availability to successfully navigate you through our IPRM treatment method.

Dry needling requires direct skin contact. Prior to dry needling, we do require you to sign a consent form and review treatment outcomes/risks. After dry needling, there may be some level of soreness, which tends to last for a few days. Your PT will discuss with you how often dry needling will be performed to help you to return to your prior levels of activity.
